Basanta Kumar Nemwang

Basanta Kumar Nembang is a Nepalese politician currently serving as a Member of the House of Representatives of Nepal. A prominent member of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist), he has represented the Panchthar-1 constituency across multiple legislative terms since 1991. Throughout his career, Nembang has held several high-level government positions, including Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Development, Minister of Water Supply, Minister of Information and Communications, and Minister of Urban Development during the second Oli cabinet.
