Padam Giri is a Nepali politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives of Nepal. A member of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist), he has represented the Parbat District since his first election in 2017. Throughout his career, Giri has held significant government positions, including serving as the Minister of Health and Population in 2023 and later as the Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs. He began his political involvement through student activism at Prithvi Narayan Campus in Pokhara, eventually rising to prominence within his party's district and national committees. He holds a master's degree in sociology.
