Julie Kumari Mahato

Julie Kumari Mahato is a Nepali politician and a member of the House of Representatives of Nepal. A prominent figure in the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist), she previously served as the Minister of Women, Children and Senior Citizens. Mahato was first elected to the federal parliament in 2017 through the proportional representation system and later secured a direct seat in the 2022 general election by winning the Dhanusa-3 constituency. Her political career has been marked by her advocacy for social welfare and her active participation in national legislative processes.
