Chhabilal Bishwakarma

Chhabilal Bishwakarma is a prominent Nepali politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives of Nepal. Representing the Rupandehi-1 constituency, he is a senior figure within the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist). A significant milestone in his career occurred in April 2007, when he became one of the first two Dalit individuals to serve as a full minister in the Nepali government. Throughout his political tenure, he has been an influential voice in national policy and served on the Standing Committee of the Nepal Communist Party during its formation. He remains an active participant in Nepal's legislative processes and parliamentary affairs.
