Bill Hamilton

Bill Hamilton is an American politician currently serving as a member of the West Virginia Senate representing the 11th district. Born in 1950, he previously served in the West Virginia House of Delegates from 2003 to 2018, representing the 39th and later the 45th districts. A graduate of Buckhannon-Upshur High School and Potomac State College, Hamilton worked as an insurance agent at the Loudin Insurance Agency before his legislative career. Throughout his tenure, he has been noted for his engagement with organized labor and his leadership roles, including serving as the chairman of the Natural Resources Committee.
