Bill Lee is an American businessman and politician serving as the 50th Governor of Tennessee since 2019. A member of the Republican Party, he previously led his family's construction and home services firm, Lee Company, as CEO from 1992 to 2016. As governor, Lee has pursued a socially conservative agenda, implementing strict abortion restrictions, expanding school voucher programs, and signing legislation regarding public safety and marriage. He is a seventh-generation Tennessean and a graduate of Auburn University.
