Birendra Prasad Mahato is a Nepalese politician currently serving as a member of the 2nd Federal Parliament of Nepal. Representing the People's Socialist Party, he secured his seat in the House of Representatives following the 2022 Nepalese general election, where he won the constituency of Siraha 4. Previously, he served as a member of the 2nd Constituent Assembly as a representative of the Madheshi Jana Adhikar Forum. In addition to his legislative duties, he has held the position of Minister of Forests and Environment of Nepal.
