Birgit Heitland is a German politician and member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). Since 2017, she has served as a member of the Landtag of Hesse, where she currently holds the position of deputy parliamentary group leader and serves as a spokesperson for the Petitions Committee. Before entering state politics, she worked as a pharmaceutical technical assistant and a freelance training consultant. Heitland has a long history of local political engagement, including serving as a city councilor in Zwingenberg and as a member of the Bergstraße district council since 2006.
