Birte Glißmann

Birte Glißmann is a German politician and lawyer serving as a member of the Landtag of Schleswig-Holstein since 2022. A member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), she currently acts as the parliamentary secretary for the CDU faction in the state parliament. Before her election, she worked as a judge and public prosecutor. Glißmann has been active in party leadership at both the state and federal levels, including serving on the CDU federal board. She is recognized for her focus on internal security and digital policy, and was named one of Germany's top 40 leaders under 40 by Capital magazine in 2024.
