Blanca Eekhout

Blanca Eekhout is a Venezuelan politician and arts graduate who currently serves as a member of the National Assembly of Venezuela. A prominent figure within the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), she has held several high-level government positions, including Minister of Communication and Information, Minister for Women and Gender Equality, and Minister of Communes. Throughout her career, she has been a key collaborator of the late President Hugo Chávez and has served as a leader in various state media organizations and parliamentary commissions focused on popular power and communal development.
