Bobby Singleton

Bobby D. Singleton is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Alabama Senate, representing the 24th District since 2005. Born in Greensboro, Alabama, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Alabama State University and a Juris Doctor from Miles Law School. Before his tenure in the State Senate, he served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2002 to 2005. Throughout his legislative career, Singleton has focused on issues such as education and economic development, and he has previously held leadership roles including chairman of the Alabama Legislative Black Caucus and Minority Whip of the Democratic caucus.
