Bodo Ramelow is a German politician currently serving as a Member of the Bundestag and Vice President of the Bundestag as of March 2025. Previously, he served as the Minister-President of Thuringia from 2014 to 2020 and again from 2020 to 2024, becoming the first head of a German state government to serve non-consecutive terms. A member of The Left, Ramelow began his career as a trade union official before entering state politics in 1999.
