Stella Merendino

Stella Merendino is a German politician and member of the Bundestag, elected in the 2025 federal election representing the Berlin-Mitte constituency. Born in Gdańsk, Poland, she previously worked as a nurse in the emergency room at Vivantes Humboldt Hospital, where she became active in union campaigns for improved staffing conditions. Her political platform focuses on health policy and tenant protection, advocating for housing as a fundamental right and the implementation of a nationwide rent cap. She joined The Left party in 2023 and was supported in her candidacy by the organization Brand New Bundestag.
