Boris Tavernier is a French politician and social entrepreneur who has served as a Member of the National Assembly for the 2nd constituency of the Rhône since July 2024. Before entering politics, he gained recognition for his work in the social and solidarity economy, notably as the co-founder of the association VRAC (Vers un réseau d’achat en commun), which combats food insecurity in low-income neighborhoods. An expert in food justice, he advocates for sustainable, accessible nutrition and the implementation of a social security system for food.
