Nicolas Thierry

Nicolas Thierry is a French politician serving as a Member of the National Assembly for the Gironde department since 2022. A member of The Ecologists party, he previously served as a regional councilor for Nouvelle-Aquitaine from 2015 to 2023. Thierry is recognized for his legislative work on environmental issues, notably leading initiatives to secure a moratorium on deep-sea mining and successfully proposing legislation to restrict the use of PFAS, often referred to as 'forever chemicals.'
