Boštjan Poklukar

Boštjan Poklukar is a Slovenian politician who served twice as the Minister of the Interior, first from 2018 to 2020 under Prime Minister Marjan Šarec and again from 2023 to 2025 under Prime Minister Robert Golob. Holding a master's degree in public administration, he began his career in the Ministry of Defence in 1991, serving in the Slovenian Armed Forces and later working with the Administration for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief. He is a member of the Freedom Movement and became the first Minister of the Interior in Slovenia's history to hold the office on two separate occasions.
