A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as the 42nd Lieutenant Governor of Idaho from 2009 to 2019 and as an Idaho state senator from 2001 to 2009. Before entering public service, Little managed his family's ranching and livestock operations. Throughout his tenure as governor, he has focused on conservative policy priorities, including tax reductions, strict anti-abortion legislation, and the regulation of transgender rights in sports and healthcare.
