Braxton Mitchell

Braxton Mitchell is an American politician serving as a member of the Montana House of Representatives, where he currently holds the position of Majority Whip and chairs the House Agriculture Committee. First elected in 2020 at age 20, he became one of the youngest elected officials in the United States. Mitchell is known for his conservative legislative agenda, including sponsoring laws related to digital identification, state veterans' cemeteries, and restrictions on government-displayed political flags. He previously represented District 3 before moving to District 5 following the 2024 redistricting process.
