Brendan Blomeley

Brendan Blomeley is an Australian politician who has served as the Mayor of the City of Clarence in Tasmania since 2022. Before his election as mayor, he worked as a government staffer, notably serving as chief of staff to Tasmanian Liberal senator David Bushby. Blomeley was previously associated with the Liberal Party, but his membership lapsed in 2024. He has contested local and federal elections as an independent candidate, including a 2025 bid for the federal seat of Franklin.
