Clover Moore

Clover Moore is an Australian politician who has served as the 82nd Lord Mayor of Sydney since 2004, making her the longest-serving individual in that office. Before her mayoral career, she was an independent member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly from 1988 to 2012, representing the electorates of Bligh and Sydney. A prominent advocate for environmental sustainability, heritage preservation, and urban infrastructure reform, she has overseen significant city initiatives including the expansion of cycleways and carbon reduction programs. Moore is recognized as the first popularly elected woman to hold the position of Lord Mayor of Sydney.
