Brent Money

Brent Money is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Texas House of Representatives for the 2nd district, having assumed office on January 14, 2025. Born in Greenville, Texas, he earned a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University–Commerce and a Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University. Money is known for his conservative legislative agenda, which includes sponsoring bills to ban gender-affirming care and criminalize women who terminate their own pregnancies. He has also advocated for the view that the United States should be governed by Christians and has founded the Sharia-Free Texas Caucus.
