Brian Babin

Brian Babin is an American politician and dentist who has served as the U.S. representative for Texas's 36th congressional district since 2015. A graduate of Lamar University and the University of Texas Dental Branch, he served as an officer in the United States Air Force before establishing a long-standing dental practice in Woodville, Texas. Throughout his career, Babin has held various local and regional government positions, including mayor of Woodville and president of the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners. A staunch conservative, he has been a vocal advocate for restrictive immigration policies, fiscal conservatism, and traditional social values, playing an instrumental role in the growth of the Republican Party in East Texas.
