Brian G. Pettyjohn is an American politician serving as a member of the Delaware Senate for the 19th district since 2012. He has held the position of Senate Minority Whip since 2020. Prior to his legislative career, Pettyjohn served on the Georgetown town council from 2008 to 2010 and as the mayor of Georgetown from 2010 to 2012. A graduate of the University of Delaware, he is known for his opposition to gun control measures and his legislative work on trade school funding and certification programs.
