Brian Mast is an American politician and U.S. military veteran serving as the U.S. Representative for Florida's 21st congressional district since 2017. A former explosive ordnance disposal technician in the U.S. Army, he lost both his legs while serving in Afghanistan in 2010 and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Before entering politics, he worked as an explosives specialist for the Department of Homeland Security.
