Brian Meyer is an American lawyer and politician serving as a member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing the 29th district. Born in Dubuque, Iowa, he served in the Iowa National Guard and worked as an assistant Iowa attorney general and assistant Polk County attorney before entering politics. He was elected to the Des Moines City Council in 2007 and later joined the state legislature in 2013. Since 2025, he has served as the Democratic Minority Leader of the Iowa House.
