Brian Stewart

Brian Stewart is an American politician and attorney currently serving as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 12th district. A veteran of the United States Army who served in the infantry during the Iraq War, Stewart previously held local offices as a member of the Ashville Village Council and as a Pickaway County commissioner. In the Ohio House, he has served as Finance Chairman, overseeing the state's biennial budget and legislative initiatives, including property tax reform and infrastructure funding. He is known for his conservative policy focus, including his sponsorship of a failed constitutional amendment to increase the threshold for voter-led initiatives in Ohio.
