Brian Williams is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Missouri Senate representing the 14th district in St. Louis County. A member of the Democratic Party, he made history as the first Black male to serve in the Missouri Senate in over two decades. Throughout his tenure, Williams has focused on criminal justice reform, notably sponsoring legislation to establish statewide use-of-force databases and restrict police chokeholds. He also advocates for public health policy and economic development initiatives across Missouri.
