Britnee Timberlake is an American politician and community advocate currently serving as a member of the New Jersey Senate representing the 34th Legislative District. Before her election to the Senate in 2023, she served in the New Jersey General Assembly and as the President of the Essex County Board of Chosen Freeholders. A graduate of Seton Hall University, Timberlake has focused her legislative career on affordable housing, maternal health, environmental justice, and economic equity, notably authoring legislation to raise the state minimum wage and improve police accountability.
