
Bruce Skaug

Bruce Skaug is an American attorney and politician currently serving as a member of the Idaho House of Representatives for the 10th district, a position he has held since 2020. Before his election to the state legislature, he served as a deputy prosecutor in Ada County and as a member of the Nampa City Council from 2014 to 2020. A graduate of the University of Idaho College of Law, Skaug has been a prominent sponsor of conservative legislation, including bills establishing the death penalty for child rape and implementing firing squads as a method of execution. He has also introduced measures aimed at restricting marijuana legalization and increasing penalties for its possession in Idaho.
