Bud Hulsey is an American politician serving as a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives for the 2nd District. A Republican, he was first elected in 2014 and has since been re-elected multiple times. Before entering politics, Hulsey served as a lieutenant in the Kingsport Police Department and later became the owner and president of Burlington Logistics, Inc. Throughout his legislative career, he has focused on conservative policy initiatives, including proposing legislation to prohibit mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations and advocating for a ban on lab-grown meat. He currently serves as the Chair of the Appropriations and Oversight Committee.
