Buddy Carter

Buddy Carter is an American politician serving as the U.S. representative for Georgia's 1st congressional district since 2015. A pharmacist by profession, he previously served as a member of the Georgia State Senate and the Georgia House of Representatives, as well as the mayor of Pooler, Georgia. A member of the Republican Party, Carter is known for his conservative stances on issues such as healthcare, where he advocates for the repeal of the Affordable Care Act, and his support for gun rights. He has also been active in committees focusing on energy, commerce, and the federal budget.
