Budiman Sudjatmiko is an Indonesian politician, activist, and former member of the House of Representatives (DPR-RI). A prominent figure in the pro-democracy movement during the New Order era, he founded the People's Democratic Party (PRD) and was imprisoned for his political activities. Later, he served as a legislator for the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) from 2009 to 2019, where he was instrumental in drafting the Indonesian Village Law. He is also known for founding the Innovators 4.0 movement and currently serves as the director of the ResPublica Institute.
