Burhanettin Kocamaz is a Turkish politician currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. A chemical engineer by training, he previously served as the Mayor of Tarsus from 1994 to 2014 and as the Mayor of Mersin Metropolitan Municipality from 2014 to 2019. Throughout his career, he has been associated with the Nationalist Movement Party and later the Good Party. Kocamaz is a graduate of Gazi University and has a background in both engineering and education.
