Zeynep Oduncu

Zeynep Oduncu is a Turkish politician serving as a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey representing Batman since June 2023. Previously, she served as the co-mayor of Gercüş starting in 2014, a position from which she was dismissed by the Ministry of the Interior in 2016. Throughout her career, she has been affiliated with the Democratic Regions Party and the Democratic People's Party. Her political platform emphasizes finding a solution to the Kurdish question, addressing the marginalization of Kurdish identity, and advocating for improvements in public health and environmental protection.
