Özgül Saki is a Turkish politician, physicist, and feminist activist currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly for Istanbul. A graduate of Middle East Technical University, she previously worked as a physics teacher and was active in labor unions such as Eğitim-Sen. Saki has a long history of involvement in socialist and feminist movements, including the Socialist Feminist Collective, and has advocated for gender equality and the rights of the LGBTI+ community. In 2023, she was elected to the 28th Parliament of Turkey, where she serves on the Committee on Equal Opportunity for Women and Men.
