Cécile Cukierman

Cécile Cukierman is a French politician and a member of the French Senate representing the Loire department since 2011. A member of the French Communist Party (PCF), she has served as the party's spokesperson since 2018 and currently leads the Communist, Republican, Citizen and Ecologist - Kanaky group in the Senate. Before her national parliamentary career, she was a history and geography teacher and served as a regional councillor in Rhône-Alpes and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, as well as a municipal official in Unieux.
