Cédric Vial is a French politician currently serving as a Senator for the Savoie department and as a regional councillor for Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Born in Chambéry, he began his political career at a young age, serving as the mayor of Les Échelles from 2008 to 2020. Before his election to the Senate in 2020, he held various roles in public administration, including positions within the Ministry of National Education and as a cabinet director for local government bodies.
