C. V. Ganesan is an Indian politician serving as the Minister for Labour Welfare and Skill Development in the Government of Tamil Nadu. A member of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), he has represented the Tittakudi constituency in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly since 2016. Throughout his tenure, he has been a vocal advocate for labor rights, notably tabling the 'right to sit' amendment to the Tamil Nadu Shops and Establishments Act in 2021 to ensure better working conditions for employees. He has been associated with the DMK since 1984, previously serving in the party's youth wing.
