Cameron Muir Dugmore is a South African politician currently serving as a member of the National Assembly of South Africa following his election in 2024. A long-time activist and member of the African National Congress, he previously served in the Western Cape Provincial Parliament for many years, including as the Leader of the Opposition from 2019 to 2024. Earlier in his career, he held provincial cabinet positions as Minister of Education and Minister of Cultural Affairs and Sport. Dugmore has a background in law and student activism, having been involved in anti-apartheid movements during his time at the University of Cape Town.
