Camille Dory Chamoun

Camille Dory Chamoun is a Lebanese politician and the current leader of the National Liberal Party, a position he assumed in April 2021. Born into a prominent Maronite political family in Deir el Qamar, he represents the Baabda constituency in the Lebanese Parliament following his election in 2022. His political platform emphasizes national sovereignty, judicial independence, administrative decentralization, and economic reform. Before his parliamentary career, he was involved in the Free Tigers militia during the Lebanese Civil War and spent several decades away from active politics before returning to run for office.
