Mohammad Raad

Mohammad Raad is a Lebanese politician and a senior leader within Hezbollah. He has served as a member of the Lebanese Parliament representing the Nabatieh District since 1992 and leads the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, the party's political wing in the legislature. A prominent ideologue and member of Hezbollah's executive committee, Raad has been a central figure in the organization's political strategy for decades. He has faced international sanctions, including those imposed by the United States in 2019 for his role in supporting terrorism. Throughout his career, he has remained a staunch defender of Hezbollah's military resistance and its alignment with regional allies, including Iran.
