Carál Ní Chuilín

Carál Ní Chuilín is a Northern Irish politician serving as the Principal Deputy Speaker of the Northern Ireland Assembly since 2024. A member of Sinn Féin, she has represented the Belfast North constituency in the Assembly since 2007. Throughout her career, she has held significant ministerial roles, including Minister of Culture, Arts and Leisure and Minister for Communities. Before entering politics, she was involved in republican activities and later worked as a coordinator for a project supporting republican ex-prisoners.
