Carlos Cação

Carlos Cacao is a Portuguese politician and civil engineer serving as a Deputy to the Assembly of the Republic for the Social Democratic Party, representing the Braga constituency. Born in Valoes, Vila Verde, he studied civil engineering at the University of Minho. Prior to his election to national parliament in 2022, he served as President of the Parish Union of Vade from 2013 to 2022 and led the Cavedo Forest Association, focusing his local governance on community support measures such as educational subsidies, childcare benefits, and administrative decentralization.
