Francisco Sousa Vieira is a Portuguese politician and physician serving as a member of the Assembly of the Republic since 2024, representing the Porto constituency. A member of the Social Democratic Party, he currently serves as the coordinator of the party's parliamentary group for health and is a member of the Health Committee. Beyond his national legislative duties, he has served as a municipal councilor in Marco de Canaveses since 2021 and leads the local branch of his party. Before entering politics, he worked as a physician at Hospital Santa Maria and Hospital Santo António, and he is also an author, having been a finalist for the PEN Club Award in 2016 for his novel.
