Carlos Espá is a Peruvian politician, lawyer, and journalist who serves as the Minister of Foreign Affairs under the government of President Keiko Fujimori. He studied law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and earned a master's degree in political science from The American University as a Fulbright scholar. Over his career, he has worked as a prominent journalist and television host, directed communications for the U.S. Embassy in Peru, and founded the SíCreo Party, advocating for classical liberal economic reforms, reduced bureaucracy, and enhanced national security.
