Carlos García Carbayo is a Spanish politician serving as the Mayor of Salamanca since 2018. A law graduate from the University of Salamanca, he previously worked as a secondary school teacher and a civil servant for the Regional Government of Castile and León. He entered local politics in 2011, eventually serving as deputy mayor before succeeding Alfonso Fernández Mañueco as mayor. In 2023, he was elected provincial president of the People's Party in Salamanca and secured an absolute majority in the local elections.
