Carol Brown is an Australian politician who has served as a Senator for Tasmania since 2005. A member of the Australian Labor Party and its left faction, she previously held various administrative and advisory roles within the Tasmanian state government and the Labor Party. Between 2022 and 2024, she served as the Assistant Minister for Infrastructure and Transport in the Albanese government. She currently chairs the Joint Standing Committee on Electoral Matters.
