Caroline Taquin

Caroline Taquin is a Belgian politician of the Reformist Movement who serves as a member of the Parliament of Wallonia and mayor of Courcelles. A former teacher by profession, she entered local politics in 2006 and later secured election as mayor in 2012, breaking decades of socialist leadership in the municipality. She subsequently entered regional politics, winning election to the Walloon Parliament in 2019 and retaining her mandate in the 2024 regional elections.
