Carolyn Harris

Carolyn Harris is a Welsh politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Neath and Swansea East since 2024, having previously represented Swansea East since 2015. She has served as the Deputy Leader of Welsh Labour since 2018 and was appointed as the United Kingdom Trade Envoy to New Zealand in 2025. Throughout her parliamentary career, Harris has been a prominent campaigner on consumer issues, children's funeral costs, and the regulation of fixed-odds betting terminals. She previously held shadow ministerial roles and served as a Parliamentary Private Secretary to Keir Starmer.
