Cassandra Hernandez

Cassandra Garcia Hernandez is an American politician serving as a member of the Texas House of Representatives for the 115th district, having assumed office following the 2024 election. A Dallas-based attorney and a survivor of domestic violence, she has dedicated much of her professional and community life to advocacy. Before her election to the state legislature, she served on various boards for Catholic charities. Of Mexican descent, Hernandez focuses her political platform on issues of advocacy and public service, drawing from her personal experiences to represent her constituents in the Texas House.
